REALITY HITS

We're a week out from our first makers market. This is a huge step for us, it's essentially having an actual shop for a day. That means plenty of stock, a card payment system, signage, display solutions, packaging and more.

I'm sure I'm not the only start up built on something I really enjoy doing. The thought of dedicating your time 100% to your favourite hobby is exhilarating.

Then as you scale up, that thing you enjoy doing seems to shrink from the daily schedule.

The 100% baking slips to 80% and before you know it, you're diversifying into packaging, project management and number crunching. That's where we are right now. Next week I'll be fully in the kitchen building up the stock of chocolates and more.
