Our first market!

Last Sunday, Flock Patisserie had its first in-person retail experience on a stall in Sale, south Manchester.

Did our chocolates survive the (then-) hottest day of the year, when experienced chocolatiers are off taking their holidays? Yes they did! With thanks to some insulated boxes, slimline freezer blocks and a borrowed parasol. Markets traders are lovely folk 🙏

Did we meet our sales target? No, we blew right past it!

But the best part, and the thing we can't wait to experience again, is the engagement with everyone who stopped at our stall. Conversations about food, flavour and everything else. We've made brilliant connections online but nothing beats getting out and meeting people.

Big shout out to the Makers Market who have built a friendly community and given newcomers like us the chance to get our products out there, speak to customers and hone our offer.

We'll be back on the stall in two weeks time, this time in Knutsford. There's lots more to come, stay tuned!
